Popcorn is a German youth magazine published monthly by Egmont Ehapa Media . The sold circulation is 33,024 copies, a decrease of 83.6 percent since 1998.
The magazine was first published in 1977 by the Marquard Media Group . In 1988 a Hungarian edition was started. In July 1998, the Marquard Media Group set the magazine Pop / Rocky in favor of popcorn and on January 1, 2000, it sold the magazine to Axel Springer AG ,
where it was published by the Axel Springer Mediahouse in Munich. In July 2009, the magazine was at the close of OZ Verlag sold part of Vision Media and Axel Springer Media House Munich dissolved. In October 2018, Egmont Ehapa Media took over the magazine.
