A fantastic antique dress from the 1910s! Soft sheer cotton voile with half length sleeves, bloused bodice and straight cut skirt. Yoke and short overskirt are trimmed with colorful pink/red, blue and green embroidery in a plaid pattern. Bodice is decorated with both delicate net lace and crochet lace; hem of skirt is trimmed in crochet lace. Closes up front with metal snaps. Small ‘14’ tag at back neck.
Good condition; slight bit of colorbleed at yoke around the red embroidery. It must be a factory anomaly because that’s the only stitching on the whole dress that’s red, the rest is pink. Small wear hole at waist, waist seaming is rough and thread, like it’s missing a belt. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear!
