Wow,

Amazing Ormlu gilt photo frame. The detail is absolutely amazing; with two wing creatures and their tails making up the body of this frame with 3 poppy heads at the mount.

It has a free following form and exquisite craftsmanship - dating 1880-1900. Purchased in Germany.

I can't see any damage to this frame except from an old quality repair to the back, which is expertly done and shows how an item of this was held in high regard and extremely valuable when it was made.

The quality speaks for itself.
