Jonathan Adler’s incredible Camille Bust from his “Muse Collection”. A retired sculpture that does not disappoint!
DESCRIPTION
Modern Sculpture.
J Adler’s porcelain Camille Bust is the perfect crowning moment for your mantel, shelf, or tablescape. Camille’s attenuated and minimal visage is loosely inspired by Giacometti’s attenuated figures and topped with a surprising ring of oversized orbs. Inspired by French sculptor Camille Claudel, lover and muse to Rodin.
Jonathan sculpts and throws the models for his Muse pottery and then substitutes his signature geometric relief patterns with body parts—faces, breasts, lips—to create a surreal style. Pieces are inspired by he and his team’s favorite artists' muses.
