Here is a Danbury Mint Limited Edition B-29, a 1/72 scale wood model, serial of this model is #1811 of 3,000 produced. The model stand plate does show some wear. Col. Paul Tibbets is the individual who originally piloted the Enola Gay back in 1945. The plate is also a genuine piece of the Enola Gay. This model is missing the propellers and COA. The aircraft here should be considered to be in very good condition

The name Enola Gay was given by its pilot to the airplane after his mother. The Enola Gay is a Boeing B-29  bomber, that dropped the atomic bomb "LittleBoy" on the city of Hiroshima, Japan during WW2.  The American pilot,and commander of the crew who served aboard the Enola Gay, was Colonel Paul Tibbets. The huge B-29 Superfortress bomber Enola Gay is one of the world’s most famous airplanes.  Originally this Danbury Mint collectable came with a box and COA. Typically, they go for alot of money.
