Gem Insider aka Paul Deasy's turquoise and Swiss blue topaz ring size 8, stamped: NF925 and Thailand. (The "NF" does not necessarily mean the 925 silver is nickel free.) The oval turquoise is prong set. There are ten prong set white zircons forming a halo around the turquoise. The outside halo is formed by ten oval prong set Swiss blue topaz. All the gemstones sit on a silver frame with double silver branches that form the prongs on the ends of each oval topaz. The silver frame looks like a basket. The shoulders of the ring are actually a split shank that measures 4/16 inch before tapering together to finish off the silver band. The ring measures 14/16 inch from north to south (fingertip to knuckle) and 12/16 inch east to west. I purchased this Gem Insider aka Paul Deasy ring from ShopHQ in a size 8. Turquoise and Swiss blue topaz are both birthstones for December. Turquoise has a Mohs hardness rating of 5 to 6. Topaz has a Mohs hardness rating of 8. I am selling this ring from my smoke free home as it no longer fits my fingers. The ring is stored in the box in which it will be shipped. The ring is comfortable on the finger and does not crowd the adjacent fingers. The turquoise is a solid stone, not composite. The blues of this ring complement each other. The white zircon sparkle and shine. The Swiss blue topaz twinkle with movement and offer flashes of light. This is a unique combination of gemstones that you are sure to love!
