Description
GUILD X-700 Stuart Antique Burst 1997 Used Electric Guitar
Judging from the serial number and pot date on the pot, it is a used item made in 1997.
The 17-inch body with Venetian cutaway features a spruce top and flamed maple sides and back.
The neck is a luxurious wood material that seems to be a top model, using 5P selected flame maple/mahogany and an ebony fingerboard with V block inlays.
You can see the attention to detail that goes into the selection of parts, such as the all-gold hardware such as the Grover pegs and harp tailpiece, as well as the Art Deco-style stepped pickguard. The laminated binding, which is applied not only around the outer circumference of the body, but also around the fingerboard, neck heel, and F-hole, gives it a chic and luxurious impression. The pickup is equipped with two GUILD original humbuckers, allowing you to enjoy a "warm and mellow" sound without compromising the impression of beautiful raw sound.
Overall, it shows signs of use commensurate with the model year, with minor scratches and scratches from use, cracks and dents on the top seam, cracks in multiple places on the side of the fingerboard, dullness of parts and paint, and occasional weather checks.
The pickguard shown in the image is included, but due to the characteristics of the material, there is nothing that can be done about it, but it has already begun to disintegrate.
Due to the gas generated during the disintegration, paint damage and rust on metal parts have occurred in a wide area around the pickguard.
There is a slight twist in the neck, and there is a slight chatter when pressing the strings around the 16th string.
The frets were originally struck short, and due to further wear and tear, only about 60% of the frets remain.
*The master volume wiring has been cut and is in dummy condition.
*Knobs other than the master volume have been replaced with speed knobs. (Original parts are not included)
Weight: Approximately 3.65kg (without pickguard)
*A non-genuine soft case is included.
