An antique Holy Water Font or Benitier. This has a hand cut crystal font for the water, on white and gold vein marble, with a bronze wash plaque signed L Mattei and H.S.  The signature is for Louis Octave Mattei.  It depicts the Virgin Mary and Baby.  The back is a bronze plate and a ring to hang from.  See the photos for the size. Some minor chips to the marble only along one edge, as shown. There is a very small chip on the inside rim of the glass font. The person I bought this from brought it from France. Thanks for looking!
