Magnificent Pair of Antique French Tall Silver Plate Candlesticks or Prickett Sticks – 21 inches

Oh, to set a grand table! Our Mother would always say you must include a pair of splendid candlesticks to place around your raised mirror plateau. And so – for our first spring outdoor table setting, we carefully polished an antique pair of very large French candlesticks – once used as pricket sticks in a French church in Paris – purchased by our mother when she lived in France. They are statuesque & tall – some 21 inches high. They are raised off the table by 3 heavy lions paw feet; the base is 7.5 inches wide in a tripod effect. The base is ornately decorated with a pair of cherub-like faces, & the column stem as it rises – ribbed in various horizontal & vertical stripes. The silversmithing in these candle sticks is so lovely! They are in excellent antique condition & will arrive at your home – brightly polished & ready to transform your table!
