Original owner offering – a vintage (1968) Hitchcock Chair Company No. 647 maple demilune “Sumner” console hall or foyer table with single drawer and stenciled in gold harvest / acorn pattern. CONDITION: VERY GOOD+. Practical and sturdy, the console table has no wobbling or jiggling issues. It has retained its original rich, factory finish with minimal wear marks. Photographs nos. 6 & 8 show two (2) areas of wear marks. The table can be disassembled with its four (4) legs being unscrewed (has wing bolts with washers) from beneath the top piece (see photos nos. 15-19). The four (4) legs are in VG+ condition with no cracks or dents. Purchased July 1968 at the Hitchcock Chair Factory Store, Riverton, CT.
