Cancellation policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the goods.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You can use the attached sample revocation form for this, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication regarding your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Refurbished products are eligible for 12 month warranty, free of charge, where the Warranty iteself shall not affect the statutory rights of the Buyer Consumer Rights.

The Warranty does not originate from eBay, but from the Seller.

You have the right to return the refurbished product under Warranty by contacting the seller within 30 days of purchase.

The Warranty shall cover all defects that occur in the item within the Warranty Period or after the receipt of the goods ("Warranty Claim"). They Buyer shall not be required to provide proof that the defect already existed at the time of transfer of risk.

In the event of a Warranty Claim, the Buyer will have the right ("Warranty Rights") to:

1. Exchange the damaged item for an item of equal or greater value;
2. Receive a repaired item; or
3. Get a full refund of the purchase price, with no additional charges.

The Seller can decide which of these Warranty Rights will be granted to the Buyer.

The product may be excluded from the Warranty any defects and claims where the defect is due to:

- Normal use or normal wear and tear of the item (as long as the wear and tear remains within the limits specificed by the manufacturer)

- Inappropriate or improper handling, based in particular on the Buyer's failture to observe the operating instructions (e.g avoiding contact with water, chemicals, and dirt, as well as severe shcoks, blows, falls and other effects of misuse of electrical items that are not designed or intended for this purpose, as specified by the manufacturer)

- Buyer's use of unsuitable parts or accessories, particulary those not assembled or fitted or not provided or recommended by the Seller or the Manufacturer (e.g unsuitable charging cable)

- Short circuits of the battery pack if the seal of the battery case or cells has been broken by the Buyer or shows signs of tampering, or if the battery pack has been used in a device for which it is not intended.

In addition, an item can also be excluded from the Warranty if the serial number on the item at the time of purchase has been removed, deleted, or modified.

Any further exclusions of defects and cases of the Warranty are only permissible within the framework of the Program if eBay ahs agreed to them in writing in individual cases (by email would be sufficient)

  Consequences of revocation

  If you revoke this contract, we have paid you all payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs immediately and at the latest within 30 days from the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

  You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

In the UK small items are shipped via Royal mail on a tracked basis, larger items are shipped via Tracked courier.

If you live on the Island of Ireland and have not received your goods within 3 business days please contact us via eBay message

If you live in the UK and have not received your goods within 5 business days please contact us via eBay message

In the EU Small items are shipped via AnPost on a non tracked basis, most other items are via DPD couriers on a tracked basis.

All tracking numbers will be sent to you via the ebay marketplace and via email.

Returns Policy

We are devoted to satisfying every customer of TekEir, however, we do understand that you may need to return goods to us occasionally. We have set out the rules that apply to returns so please read them carefully.

CHANGE OF MIND

If a customer is not satisfied with a purchase on our site, we are happy to offer a full refund on the price of the product returned within a 30-day cooling-off period, as per the consumer rights directive.

Should a customer have reason to return an item, they need to email us to get a returns form.

We will then email you with a return letter to accompany your item.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of our returns form to promptly process the refund.

The customer is responsible for the shipping costs involved in returning the order to us.

Refunds will only be paid on the same card/account used to place the order and are for the value of the goods.

Customers must complete the Returns Form within ten days of placing the order and goods must be returned to us within five days of filling out this form.

Items returned within 30 days of delivery will be issued a refund.

FAULTY GOODS

If you should find that your goods are faulty on arrival or go faulty during the warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement.

Should a customer have reason to return an item, they need to complete the aforementioned returns form.

We will then email you with a return letter to accompany your item.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of our returns form to facilitate the processing of the return.

On receiving the faulty item(s), TekEir will then send out the replacement - normally within 3 working days.

Customers should inspect the goods on receipt to make sure all items are present and were not damaged during transit.

Customers must inform us with 3 days of receiving a parcel if there is an item missing / Damage in Transit.

Customers can only call in person once they complete the Returns Form and have received confirmation.
