1. To measure your cylinder pin to pin when cylinder completely retracted.
then minus 11, the number is your cylinder stroke.
For example: pin to pin measured is 30", cylinder stroke is 19".
Stroke 18" should be also good for installation on your trailer, but over 19" stroke cylinder should not be able to install on it.
2. The Bore size is I.D. of Tube, not the O.D of tube. In most case, 2.5" bore cylinder can replace 2.0" cylinder because everything is same only cylinder O.D is 1/2" bigger. 2.5" cylinder is stronger than 2.0".
