ABOUT MY SHIPPING
I use calculated shipping on my ebay listings. I weigh the
item, put in the specifics and the total is calculated shipping which comes out
to exactly what usps is going to charge me at the counter when I go in to ship
it. I don't make any money on shipping nor do I charge for shipping supplies,
time or gas. I throw that in for free. But the price shown is what usps is
going to charge me. I wish I could do better but I do not set usps prices.
In addition to that, ebay also charges sellers a percentage
of the shipping costs on top of the final value fee, which cuts into the money
a seller gets for the item. For that reason it makes no sense for a seller to
over charge on shipping. Probably too much info but I'd like potential buyers
to know that because I know shipping is high and I want my buyers to know it's
not because I'm not being fair or because I'm greedy. Thanks for understanding.
