The
Taste Sensation Butter Milk Powder (Sour and Tangy).
The Taste Sensation Sour/Tangy Buttermilk Powder with the addition of Lactic Acid, will greatly help tenderize meat when being marinated, the acidity of the re-hydrated Buttermilk will break down the meat proteins which will increase the moistness (softer texture) and this will then help your chosen spices to penetrate the meat and greatly increase the flavour. Simply re-hydrate the Buttermilk Powder with cold water (please see directions below) and start to immerse your chosen meat and spices, store in the refrigerator and allow the marinating to work its magic.

Recommended Usage Rate: One part powder, two
parts cold water i.e. 100 grams powder, 200 grams of water.
Direction for Use: Mix both ingredients
(powder, water) together stir/whisk till all the lumps have dispersed, leave to
stand for 10-20 minutes to allow the buttermilk to thicken, totally immerse
your chosen meat and spices and store (refrigerated) in a container with a lid
or a zip-lock plastic bag, this allows the meat to be stirred/shaken to ensure
even coverage.
Suggested Marinating Times in Chilled Conditions: Vegetables: 30 minutes - 2 hours Chicken: 8 - 24 hours. For tougher meat like beef, lamb goat: leave up to 48 hours
