ZuluIDE™ v2 Hybrid is a IDE computer storage emulation platform, where drive images are stored on a standard FAT32 or exFAT-formatted SD card. Conceivably, SDXC cards of up to 512GB are supported. ZuluIDE™ is a derivative of the ZuluSCSI, only it's a ATAPI/IDE interface.
We are primarily selling it for the Roland SP808, to replace the included ZipDrive (100 or 250), but anyone who wants a ZuluIDE can buy it! Although we only support this for SP808 operation.
This is the "Version 2 Hybrid" of the ZuluIDE board. It is NOT the V2 Compact or the Version 1 of the board.
Comes with a mounting tray, a Micro SD card with pre-formatted SP808images on it, and also some features specifically pertaining to the Roland SP808 - an "eject switch" which. though doesn't eject the SD card, it sends a eject signal so the SP808 enters "diskless mode" so it can be safely powered down. It also comes with a zuluide.ini file on the SD card that supports this, and a 650mb image properly named to be "ZipDrive compliant". (There are also many more images with different sizes for you to decide or not decide to use.)
Last but not least, this comes with a BERG->Molex power adapter so the ZuluIDE can be powered properly by the SP808 itself.
