1. A Chest of Drawers TANSU. That door won't open.
2. A big box NAGAMOCHI.
3. Two small boxes HASAMIBAKO.
HINA dolls are displayed before the Japanese traditional festival HINA-MATSURI and they are put away as soon as possible from the next day. MATSURI means festival. HINAMATSURI is the Doll's or Girls' Festival observed on March 3rd. It is on April 3rd in some Prefectures same as my pref. Graceful dolls of the Emperor and Empress, and noble court people in Heian era costumes are displayed to celebrate the girls' healthy growth and wish them to be as graceful as Heian nobles.
