This viola was given to me by my neighbor. It is in great condition with little to no scratches or marks. It comes with the case and a bow. The viola itself has a sticker inside that says it comes from W.M. Lewis & Son. The serial # is A010017. The other number is WL 47E 12 meaning it is a 12 inch student viola. There is a date: 11/11. I assume it was made in November of 2011. It also says it is a Somerset. The only thing that would need to be done is the bow needs to be rehaired.
I had it appraised by my daughter's viola teacher. Her husband who builds custom violas appraised it at $600. I am asking $500 as a brand new one is about $900.
