The book design is crafted by Tomoyuki Arima, a renowned designer trusted by many artists. Starting with the 2020 edition, the interior design has been refined to create a clearer, more impactful visual experience.

ILLUSTRATION 2021:

The 2021 edition showcases cover art by Little Thunder, a Hong Kong-based illustrator with over 700,000 Instagram followers. Her work is highly regarded worldwide for its blend of manga and contemporary art influences.

Continuing the tradition of refreshing the artist lineup, over 90% of the featured illustrators are new compared to the previous volume, offering a fresh perspective on the evolving illustration scene.

The 2022 edition is highlighted by cover artwork from Kotou Tsumi, the visionary illustrator behind key visuals for YOASOBI and other high-profile projects.

ILLUSTRATION 2023:

The 2023 edition introduces a completely refreshed selection of artists, ensuring a look at the very latest movements in Japanese illustration.

The cover artwork is by Hanabushi, an illustrator and animator known for his work on visuals for Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni. (ZUTOMAYO). His distinct style has drawn significant attention from both art enthusiasts and the broader entertainment industry.

As always, Tomoyuki Arima provides expert book design, enhancing the presentation of each artwork.

ILLUSTRATION 2024:

Marking the 10th anniversary of the ILLUSTRATION series, the 2024 edition is a special commemorative volume.

For the first time in the series’ history, the cover features a collaboration between two artists, tamimoon × Hakuikishiroi. This unique artwork represents a fusion of two distinctive styles, making it a truly one-of-a-kind visual statement.

The entire artist lineup has been renewed, offering an exciting new perspective on the forefront of Japanese illustration.

ILLUSTRATION 2025:

The latest edition, ILLUSTRATION 2025, continues the tradition of presenting a completely new selection of talented illustrators, highlighting the ever-evolving landscape of modern art.

The cover artwork is by Nanako Yatsudate, an artist whose work explores themes of nostalgia and dreamlike worlds, captivating audiences both in Japan and internationally.

Designed once again by Tomoyuki Arima, this volume is an essential collection for art lovers, collectors, and professionals seeking inspiration from Japan’s most innovative illustrators.

If the buyer's "Ship-To" location is incorrect or designated as a "Remote Area" by our shipping carrier, an additional shipping fee will be charged to the buyer after the order is placed. If the buyer does not pay the additional fee within the specified period, the order will be canceled by us, citing "Issue with buyer's shipping address" or "Buyer requested cancellation."

If you can only choose Economy Shipping but would prefer Expedited Shipping, please contact us. We can arrange this for you for an additional fee.

Return Policy

We accept your return of purchased item only in case of unopened and original condition. If returned item is not received in such condition refund could be refused.

Customs and duties:

For buyers in the United States: Import duties and taxes are included in the item price or shipping cost. Items shipped to the U.S. are sent under the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) method, which means all import-related charges are prepaid. You don't need to pay any additional fees when your order arrives.

For buyers outside the United States: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. If buyer refuses to pay the customs duty after the item has passed the customs in buyer's country it will be scrapped by delivering freight company and refund will not be available.
