connecting to the device with a 3.5mm jack. They are amplifier-free. So they do not have a 

very loud sound. But they have a very nice and satisfying sound. NOT suitable for those looking 

for a portable loud speaker for their mobilphones. Its a Collectible, Vintage electronics item.
