For 24 Volt vehicles
This alarm can be fitted to any vehicle that has a plastic header tank with a flat surface to attach the sensor to (not oval or round)
It uses a capacitive sensor that detects the coolant through the wall of the header tank.
The alarm has a loud buzzer and an LED.
The buzzer gives a short beep when the ignition is turned on to confirm it is working.
The LED is a flashing type red/blue, clear transparent when off.
Sensor wire is 2.4 Metres long.
Ring terminal on ground wire.
The fitting instructions shown in the images are for the Mazda Bongo, this is because we have sold over 770 units for this vehicle at the time of writing. Instructions are also supplied in the package.
The alarm is very simple to fit, To get the alarm working just supply power to the red & black wires and stick the sensor to the header tank.
The main consideration is that the sensor is 29mm diameter and it needs to be routed from inside the vehicle to the engine bay.
So if no existing route can be found then a hole would need to be drilled in the bulkhead.
