Martin D-28 Standard w/L.R.Baggs Element VTC / 2017 Used Acoustic Guitar

The D-28 is Martin's most famous guitar. Since its debut in 1934 as a dreadnought model with a 14th fret joint, it has remained a beloved world standard to this day. The "D" in its name comes from the British battleship Dreadnought, a massive battleship of the time. The large body produces a deep, rich resonance and a crisp sound. This instrument is a used D-28 Standard, manufactured in 2017 with the latest specifications. It features a spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, a decal headstock logo, Grover open-back tuning machines, MOP fingerboard dots, a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, a checkered flag back strip, and non-scalloped, forward-shifted X-bracing. The D-28 has been redesigned with aging tonewood, a 44.5mm nut width, and a low-profile neck, giving it a slightly vintage look and sound, further enhancing its popularity. With its rich, deep bass, punchy midrange, and crisp highs, this versatile guitar offers a wide range and is suitable for any style. It also features an L.R.Baggs Element VTC pickup, making it a versatile, practical model that stands out in any band. While there are some minor scratches, it's in excellent condition with no visible cracks or blemishes. The neck is also in good condition, maintaining a comfortable, playable action. An additional strap pin has been added to the top of the neck heel. This is a rare custom model of the ever-popular acoustic guitar standard, the D-28. It's sure to be a hard-earned favorite.
