Milburn Stone, best known for his role as "Doc" (Dr. Galen Adams) on the Western series Gunsmoke. appeared in 604 episodes of Gunsmoke from 1955 to 1975.

Kept in storage for over 60 years by James Arness himself, this ORIGINAL contract dated April 15, 1961, is for the professional services of esteemed actor, Milburn Stone.

This 20-page contract covered three years of his Gunsmoke appearances from 1961-1964.   In his hand, Stone initialed some corrections made to the contract and gave his full signature on the final page.

Again, this is his original contract with his live ink initials and signature.
