Our heavy duty alternator bracket mounts on driver side cylinder head and places the alternator alongside the valve cover. These are the perfect upgrade when using aftermarket headers. Heads must have accessory bolt holes for proper fit and alignment. This bracket is based on the 1967-72 Chevy and GMC truck and 1972-82 Covette with a 63 amp alterator. Will not work with 70 amp alternators. Not designed to replace GM Part #'s 3951337, 14015539. Great universal alternator mount.
