Kings Canyon National Park hosts the General Grant Tree, an ancient sequoia and one of the largest known, nicknamed the "Nations Christmas Tree". The park boasts rugged peaks and a very deep canyon. Located outside Fresno and Tulare, CA, this park is very near to Sequoia National Park with Mount Whitney and the General Sherman Tree, another of the world's oldest and largest.
