Montezuma Castle and Montezuma Well are a pair of ancestral sites north of Phoenix, AZ on I-17 that preserve cliff dwellings and a water source from the earliest inhabitants believed to have been here around 11,000 CE. The Well is a sub-unit of the Montezuma Castle National Monument, and is located about 15 minutes north of the main dwelling site.
