*** Front and sides of tank are cleaned thoroughly. Inside, underneath and backside of tank may or may not show signs of stains, paint, etc. but are unimportant because they are not visible when tank is installed on your bowl and with your lid sitting on top.

Used toilet tank inspections and packaging procedures:
As the seller, I inspect all used tanks for flaws. Flaws are photographed and described in the listing.
After the sale of a used tank, the tank is then reinspected before shipping. After passing this 2nd inspection the tank is then tightly packed in styrofoam in a sturdy box and shipped.
Upon the arrival of the tank the buyer needs to carefully inspect it for any damage during shipping (extremely rare). If there is any damage or potential leak issues report that damage to the seller immediately and do not install the tank.
