LD2411S is a 24GHz range-finding radar module, the working principle is to use FMCW FM continuous wave to detect the target in the set space, combined with radar signal processing, accurate sensing algorithms, precise sensing of micro-movement/movement object distance and status information.
Support 0.2-3 meters within the micro sensing and 3-6 meters mobile sensing, and real-time output TTL serial data, can provide configuration tools, modify the sensing distance range, sensing sensitivity and delay time.

1. If the radar needs to be installed with an enclosure, the enclosure must have good wave-transparent characteristics in the 24GHz band, and must not contain metal or materials that have a shielding effect on electromagnetic waves.
2. This product needs to be installed in a suitable environment, such as in the following environment, the detection effect will be affected
2.1 The presence of non-human objects in the sensing area of continuous movement, such as animals, continuous swinging curtains and large plants facing the wind.
2.2 There is a large strong reflective plane in the sensing area, and the strong reflective objects will cause interference to the radar antenna. When wall-mounted, you need to consider the top of the room air conditioning, electric fans and other external interference factors.
3. Installation Precautions
3.1 Try to ensure that the radar antenna is facing the area to be detected, and the antenna around the open and unobstructed.
3.2 To ensure that the sensor installation position is firm and stable, the radar itself will affect the detection effect of shaking.
3.3 to ensure that the back of the radar will not have object movement or vibration. Because the radar wave has penetrating, antenna back flap may detect the radar back of the moving objects. Metal shield or metal back plate can be used to shield the radar back flap to reduce the impact of the back of the radar objects.
3.4 When there are more than one 24GHz band radar, please do not beam directly opposite, try to install away from each other to avoid possible mutual interference.
3.5 Power supply considerations, power supply input voltage of 5VDC, power supply ripple within 100 kHz without significant spectral peaks, this program is a reference design, users need to consider the corresponding ESD and lightning surge and other electromagnetic compatibility design.
