A 1960s set of Hornsea salt and pepper shakers, designed by John Clappison these salt and pepper shakers are difficult to get hold of nowadays.

This pair have their original plastic stoppers in place.

They have been in use and have picked up some scratches to the glaze which can be seen when held towards the light.

The pepper shaker has a small chip located on the edge of the base which can't be seen when the pot is placed on a surface. The salt shaker has a chip on the edge of it measuring approximately 4mm x 3mm as can be see in the photographs. There are two much smaller chips in the glaze just above and below the larger chip.

These shakers measure approximately 8.5cm x 7.5cm x 3.5cm at their longest and widest points.
