• Stunning antique French crucifix with a holy water font/stoup.
• Crafted from bronze, brass and green onyx (chalcedony).
• Original hardware on the back for hanging on the wall.
• The crucifix is in very good condition for its age.  Overall signs of wear, accumulated dust, and the metal has a patina layer, especially the bronze on the front of the piece.  The most notable thing is that the bronze border on the front has come unattached from the onyx to which I believe it was once glued.  It fits snuggly around the font, which holds it in place, and it is not in danger of coming completely off the piece unless forced.
