What is a Black Circle Variant?
In 1961, Atlas (Marvel Comics) wanted to increase its prices from 10c to 12c for all issues with published dates Jan 1962 and onwards. They had an issue with their printing plates and had to "Black Out" the 10c price with a black circle. There are only 3 black out circle variants and Journey into Mystery #76 was one of them.
