The grease might not come out right away when you are using it at the first time, press the handle several times to let the grease push the air out.
If grease is still not coming out, the air bleeder valve button can help to eliminates air pockets quickly. Press after loading, the plunger will retract automatically.
If you still can't prime the grease out, unscrew the head a little to let the air out.
Due to the low temperature in winter, grease might get tougher and cause slower lubing.
