Ovation Adamas II 1581-9 Used Acoustic Guitar

We've just received a 1987 Ovation Adamas II 1581-9! It features a carbon graphite top, lyrecord back and sides, a walnut fingerboard and bridge, a five-piece mahogany and maple neck, original Schaller gold tuning machines, epaulette soundholes, a deep bowl, and an OP-24 preamp. It features a carbon graphite top, lyrecord back and sides, and a cool brown finish! This transitional Adamas II, featuring the older body and the OP-24 preamp, is rare on the market! Because it's an older body, the battery box was replaced internally. The single-epaulette cutaway design allows for effortless access to the upper registers, making it an attractive choice. As it's over 30 years old, there are some belt scratches and dents on the back, but it has been meticulously adjusted for long-term reliability. The nut width is approximately 42mm, providing a comfortable grip and an ideal angle. The truss rod also functions flawlessly. The frets are also well-placed, allowing you to use it without worrying about the string height. The string height is adjusted to approximately 2.2mm on the 12th fret (6th string) and approximately 1.3mm on the 1st string for easy fingering. Three shims are included under the saddle for adjusting string height, allowing for fine tuning to your liking. The piezo microphone produces a powerful, crisp sound with a distinct definition! The deep bowl produces a rich, natural sound with a pleasant low-mid range! This is a rare Adamas II! Don't miss this opportunity to try it out. Comes with original hard case.
