KNIT FLAT ON STRAIGHT NEEDLES AND NOT IN THE ROUND. GREAT PROJECT FOR A BEGINNER.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This hat is knit flat on two straight needles and NOT in the round and the pattern is suitable for a beginner.

Adult Size with no pom pom takes 2 x 50 g balls or with pom pom 3 x 50 g  balls

Large Adult Size with or without pom pom takes 3 x 50 g balls

Please measure the head before starting as head sizes vary. The finished hat is very stretchy 

You may knit this item in any Aran weight yarn that knits to the correct tension, it is shown here in the beautiful, soft and fluffy Du Storr Alpakka Tweed 50% alpacca, 30% merino wool, 20% donegal machine washable at 30 degrees. You can buy this at lindehobby.co.uk

TENSION:   20sts = 4 ins (10 cm) stocking stitch using size 4.5 mm needles - PLEASE CHECK YOUR TENSION


Dispatch 

Pattern will be sent typed, printed single sided, on A4, 90gsm, brilliant white paper.

To keep your costs to a minimum, pattern will be sent FOLDED in a plain white C5 envelope and not a hard backed envelope. This is not a manufacturers glossy printed pattern
