Is the voltage of this adaptor compatible with your appliance?

Is the amperage of this adaptor compatible with your appliance? Regulated adaptors are suitable for appliances requiring a current equal to or below the rating of the adaptor. Unregulated adaptors may cause a rise in the voltage supplied to your appliance if you are using it for appliances requiring less current than that supplied by the adaptor.

If you are purchasing a DC adaptor does the polarity of this adaptor (positive or negative centre) match that of your appliance? Most appliances require a positive centre polarity adaptor. Our universal adaptors have a polarity which is switchable between positive and negative centre.

Do you require an AC/AC (AC output) or AC/DC (DC output)  adaptor?

Will the jack size be compatible with your appliance? If you are unsure of this then it may be best to purchase one of our universal adaptors. Our universal adaptors come with a selection of jacks which fit the majority of appliances.
