2012 US LIMITED EDITION SET - SILVER PROOFS - SAN FRANCISCO
I am selling a collection of Limited Edition sets, 2012 thru 2023, for a friend.
The buyer bought one set each year, usually from the mint but this one he bought at Mister Coin in Conyers, Georgia. The price for this set in 2018 was $245 which is really steep but the coins are really choice- save for the New Mexico Quarter which has some disturbing and unsightly spotting. The 2012 Eagle is very scarce and as you can see it looks very nice under close inspection, as all the coins do save for the New Mexico quarter. I've provided some close-up photos and video. In the video I tilted the coins every which way so that you could see the surface from all angles. The outer sleeve and the inner box lid show minor signs of age. The inner album cover looks great though. The coins, as you may notice, have toning.
If you're looking for a set with a great 2012 Eagle in it then this is probably the one for you, despite the price and despite the New Mexico quarter being a right Dog's Breakfast.

The quarter–dollar, half–dollar and dime coins are struck in 90 percent silver – generally referred to as “coin silver” – and bear the “S” mint mark of the United States Mint at San Francisco.
