Roseville Pottery in Roseville Ohio made numerous lines of decorative pottery from 1892 to 1954.  Their Raymor dinnerware line designed by accomplished industrial designer Ben Seibel was done in 1952.

This Raymor oval bowl # 156 has crisp mold definition and a beautiful dark brown mottled glaze.  With a very mid-century modern style, the ends have a v-shaped design at the top with indentations on the sides as handles.

It is about 2 inches tall, 6-1/2 inches long, and 4-1/2 inches wide with curved sides tapering up from the bottom to the top.

It has the raised in-mold 156 shape number "raymor by Roseville U.S.A."mark on the bottom.

It is in very good vintage condition - no chips, hairlines, crazing, stains, or utensil marks.
