American 18 size Model 2, Springfield Grade pocket watch with matching New Old Stock chain    

Vintage/Antique Hampden 18 size or 58mm in diameter (not counting the sleeve, stem, crown of hinged bow) 

Case is an all high polished Trouble - Free solid nickel solid case back with "swing-out" movement open face case, 

This patented solid back - "swing-out" case is reference # 9528 and was contracted by Hampden through the Crescent Watch Case Company and features a 14 Kart pink or rose Gold "dust proof" crown, 

Powered by original Hampden signed Model 2, Springfield Grade , 7 jewel, Full Gold Gilt plate, suspended & compensated Bi-Metallic balance assembly, 

Original Hampden white porcelain single sunk dial with a chip above the subsidiary seconds register, "AND" a white porcelain single sunk porcelain Hampden factory dial with a multi-color vintage train scene, 

original extra thick beveled glass crystal with normally expected lite abrasions, 

We are even including a New Old Stock (never used or carried) matching solid nickel pocket watch chain, 

This 142 year old timepiece has been serviced and is still looking and running FINE!!!

Excellent overall cosmetic & mechanical condition

Before posting this item we did an eBay and Internet search for comparable 100% original 18 size Model 2, Sterling Grade stem wind lever set pocket watches that were professionally serviced, warranted & looking and running great. We did find a few that were in "As-Is, broken or non-complete non-running condition" for well under $200. However, the only ones that we could find that had original factory near MINT porcelain dials, were serviced, running well and fully warranted were priced up to an incredible price of $800! Those had an "average" price of $381.30. 

We can "ALSO" sell poor condition, non-running and incomplete watches for very low prices if that is what the customer wants. However, we enjoy offering the best possible quality vintage, rare & collectible watches that the buyer will have no trouble with, at the best possible prices!!
