DESCRIPTION

The first edition of 1928 containing a collection of nineteen Hebrew songs and seventeen Yiddish songs. 

These are collected and sung by Anna Shomer Rothenberg, and are accompanied with explanatory notes and suggestion for interpretation. 

Some of the titles included are 'Yah-Lell,' 'Yaldah Neimah,' 'Bamidbar,' 'Leig Ich mir mein Keppele,' 'A Dank Gott,'  and 'Der Cheder Yingel.' 

The piano arrangements are composed by Meyer Posner. Complete with all musical sheets. 

The musical sheet for 'Zachary's Theme' was tipped in by a previous owner.


CONDITION

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally excellent with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. With a minimal horizontal tear to the spine. Inscribed by a previous owner to the front pastedown "With my compliments to Louise R Joseph," by Rabbi S. M. Kramer. The musical sheet for 'Zachary's Theme' was tipped in by a previous owner to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
