Very rare, original OEM, NOS New Old Stock, Schlage BRAND SC1 (oem 923C) key blank. The SC1 key way is very common to many residential and
commercial locks. These gorgeous original key blanks are made out of nickel-silver which resembles sterling silver.
Nickel-silver also called German silver. Nickel silver is stronger and more expensive than brass. And, it doesn't tarnish as much as brass.
Back then manufacturers chose nickel-silver over brass for higher quality items like these Schlage key blanks.
They were part of an enormous antique locksmith collection with items dating back to the 1800's.

Once you receive the key blank make sure it slides smoothly in and out of your locks.
Take these fine key blank(s) to a trusted LOCKSMITH for cutting. Please do not use the Wallyworld types to cut this key.
