Thomas Hardy's penultimate poetry collection, published only three years before his death. It has been regarded as one of Hardy's most cheerful works, and includes many personal poems reflecting on his life and loved ones.

Thomas Hardy was an English novelist, poet who wrote within the Victorian realist genre, being inspired by Romanticism. He is best known for his novel, 'Far from the Madding Crowd'.

The half title page is present.

With three pages of advertisements to the rear of the novel.


CONDITION

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear. Fading to the spine. Bumping to the spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age-toned to the edges but otherwise very bright and clean.
