Rustic Bedside Table Tops/ Covers

DESCRIPTION

These bedside table tops are perfect for giving a rustic upgrade to an existing bedside table set you may have.
The lips on the front & sides mean they'll just sit ontop of the top. With the lips holding it in place.
***I can make them to your exact size, meaning they'll fit perfectly***.
Each one has been handcrafted from reclaimed timber, sanded to a smooth finish, then given two generous coats of your chosen colour.
14 colours/ finishes to choose from (See photos)
After being coated in your chosen colour, I'll apply two coats of protective matt/ non gloss varnish. This helps to protect it against future scratches & scuffs.
NOTE - All boards come complete with scrapes, knots, indentations & discolorations, which all help to tell the story of its previous life. These imperfections give the board its character, making each one totally unique.

MATERIAL

The covers are made from lightweight spruce.
It is 18mm thick, but the lips give it the impression of being thicker & chunkier.
The surface is full of character, which gives it the rustic appearance you'll hopefully want!!

LIPS
----------------------------------------------
Each cover has a lip at the front and sides.
This lip gives it the impression of being thicker than it actually is, while still being lightweight.
The last thing we want to worry about is taking off an existing top, so these lips mean it can just sit on top.
(For added stability you could use some wood glue, or sealant adhesive to hold ilthe cover firmly in place).
The lip drops approximately 2cm beyond the bottom of the cover & gives the appearance of being roughly 4cm thick from the front & sides.
Note, I can tailor the lip to your exact specifications. So if you need to cover an existing chunky top, I can make the lip bigger.

Once you give me the dimensions, I'll make it roughly 5mm longer & wider, to allow for any potential wood expansion.
