Since 1972, the Vega-402 portable transistor radio has been produced by the Berdsk Radio Plant. The radio receiver of the 4th class ''Vega-402'' operates in the LW and MW bands. Compared to the ''Vega'' radio receiver, the new radio receiver has a modified detector circuit and input circuit in the LW range. The rest of the electrical circuit repeats its predecessor. The new radio receiver has a scale illumination, and the vernier device is made by a separate unit. The radio is powered by 9V battery type 6F22. The sensitivity of the receiver "Vega-402" in the ranges LW 2.5 mV/m, MW 1.5 mV/m. Selectivity 26 and 20 dB, respectively. Rated output power 150 mW. The range of reproduced sound frequencies is 315...3550 Hz. Receiver dimensions 157x160x64 mm, weight 980 gr. Leather case included. The receiver was exported to a number of socialist countries.
