This is an authentic emergency cut off switch brand new in package directly from reliance company which I believe is AO Smith. I originally ordered thinking I needed it to repair my hot water heater, but I ended up fixing it before the item arrived so it is brand new and package never been opened. It appears to come with the actual emergency, cut off switch and the protective white plate that goes on top as well as the housing that the emergency cut off switch is attached to for easy mounting and also the instructions on how to do so. Please note this is for the model mentioned above, it may fit other models but I can’t guarantee that I only know that I have the 50 gallon electric heat pump hybrid hot water heater and this was the one they sent me for that.
