Portable radio receivers "Ocean" and "Ocean-201" were produced respectively since 1969 and 1970 by the Minsk Radio Plant. ''Ocean'' is the first Soviet portable radio receiver of class 2 with the VHF range. It operates in the LW, MW, 5 SW sub-bands from 25 to 75 meters and in the VHF broadcast range. Real sensitivity in the ranges LW 0.5 mV/m, MW 0.3 mV/m, SW 100 μV and VHF 25 μV. Adjacent channel selectivity of at least 46 dB in the AM bands. IF = 465 KHz in AM and 8.5 MHz in FM path. The rated output power of the amplifier is 500 mW. The audio frequency range is 200...4000 Hz in the AM path and 200...10000 Hz in FM. Power supply 9 volts from 6 373 batteries.
