Queen Elizabeth ll brooch collection contained many that symbolise nations of the commonwealth and the Australian Wattle Brooch together with the New Zealand Fern and the Canadian Maple Leaf is typical of these.
The brooch is designed to represent the national flower of Australia, and appropriately, it was made by an Australian firm, William Drummond. Made of platinum and set with white and yellow diamonds.
The brooch was commissioned as a gift for the new monarch, who received it in February 1954 during her Commonwealth tour. The brooch’s gorgeous floral design is an ideal choice for springtime occasions. In May 1960, the Queen wore it for her annual visit to the Chelsea Flower Show.
We have replicated this brooch, our version is constructed from rhodium plated copper with cubic zirconia stones. We have exclusive rights to this brooch and own the design as well as the mould. This brooch is only available from our outlets, it has the look and feel of the real thing but is available at a tiny fraction of the cost
