HIBISCUS MUTABILIS belongs to the malvaceae family, its origins are in southern China.
It is a very beautiful shrub, known for its resistance to both pollutants and adverse weather conditions and for the beautiful and often unique color of its flowers which is precisely "mutabilis" or changes color within a few hours.
It has no special soil needs, normal garden soil is fine more than as long as it has slightly acidic pH, fertile and mixed with peat and sand.
