How to prevent the drill bit from burning
Reason for burning:
1. Work with a pure drill
2. The amount of feed is too large
3. The drill chips block the spiral groove of the drill bit
4. When the drill bit has just drilled through, the feed resistance is rapidly reduced or the feed amount is suddenly increased
5. The workpiece is loose
6. The drilling and casting work meets shrinkage holes
Solution:
1. Reduce the amount of feed and reasonably increase the cutting speed
2. In the case of deep holes, the chips should be removed frequently to allow the chips to be discharged
3. When the drilling is about to penetrate, reduce the amount of feed
4. Firm the workpiece
5. Reduce the cutting speed and choose the sharpening angle of the drill according to the hardness of the workpiece
