Crafted from natural material, which we suppose is linen (feels like one and traditionally it is linen that’s used for things like this in Ukraine) this table runner measures approximately 106 cm in length (without the trim bits on the ends) and about 37cm in width, making it perfect for any size table or as a wall hanging. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or just want to add a pop of colour to your room as a tapestry, this hand-woven piece is sure to impress.

It is handmade, hand-woven by hand in a traditional technique - using a traditional weaving equipment.

It was provided to us as the one which has never been in use and we do believe it however it is properly vintage and has got various marks/stains from storage as well as signs of age like pulled out threads on the sides etc.

We’d recommend to give it a good gentle wash (suitable for a natural fabric) once purchased (a few of our customers confirmed it does help to get rid of these storage stains).

This is a type of item which was passed from at least one generation to another in the area of Bukovina in Ukraine - we don’t know now exactly how many generations or years has it got behind it - and has now been sent to us and available now for sale in the UK. So it sure does have a history there.

We have a few of these items for sale but no more stock of them coming later as it’s a very unique item, so once they’re gone - they’re gone.
