Quality made brass blood donor bar pin badge.The bar is thick square brass, profiled to the concave badge rear.
It's made by Pinches of London (see rear markings), a renowned medallists who made the medals for the 1948 Olympics, as well as other medals and coins.
Founded in 1840, they became a limited company in 1940 and were bought by Franklin Mint of Philadelphia in 1969.
The badge has a good manufacturers pedigree and is accompanied by the 21st anniversary blood donor certificate dated 13th June 1967.
