He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This stunning box has been displayed on my bed side stand at my fishing cottage for many years. Probably dates to around the turn of the century. In stunning shape for its age. It has been loving cared for and kept out of the light. It measure 2 inches tall by 3 inches around. This rare vintage Native American Inuit birch bark porcupine quill box from the early 1900s is a true treasure.
